Receipt scanning
Snap a photo of the paper receipt or upload the PDF e-invoice. Gastify's AI reads every item, quantity, price and total, and lets you review the details before saving.
It is built for grocery shopping in Colombia: receipts from D1, Éxito, Ara, Olímpica or Carulla, and from your neighborhood store when it itemizes what you bought.
It is not a cashback app: Gastify doesn't pay you to scan, it helps you understand your grocery spending.
Shared list
Build your grocery list in the app and share it with a link over WhatsApp or anywhere else. Your partner, family or roommates open it in the browser, with nothing to install.
Every change (adding, editing, checking off or reordering items) shows up instantly on every device. The link expires after 12 hours and you can revoke it at any time.
Sharing requires the optional Gastify Inbox account, created with just your email and no password.
AI chat
Type your question the way you would ask someone at home: “What did I spend the most on in my last purchases?”, “What was my latest purchase?” or “How much did I spend at D1?”.
Ask Gastify answers from the receipts you have saved, not from generic averages, and suggests the next question to keep exploring.
Answers are generated by AI and may contain mistakes: always double-check important information against your receipts.
Gastify Inbox
Gastify Inbox is optional and only needs your email, no password. You get a dedicated address ending in +inbox@gastify.io: forward the invoices you already receive (the original stays in your email) or give it at the checkout as your delivery address.
Gastify processes the PDF or the ZIP with the XML of the Colombian electronic invoice (DIAN's UBL 2.1 format) and adds it to your purchase history.

Why this exists
We built Gastify because we were tired of throwing away receipts without learning from them.
One day we added up one month of spend and realized: we had no clue where our money was going. The ~$15 olive oil we bought every month without noticing. The ~$24 tilapia fillet we sometimes did not even eat. Three grocery runs in one week because something was always missing.
We tried personal finance apps - every one of them asked us to log everything manually. We quit within a week. We tried Notes lists - they are still there, six months old.
So we built Gastify: an app focused 100% on grocery shopping. It reads your receipts, organizes what you buy by product and store, answers your questions about your groceries, and helps you build a list your household sees in real time.
